Mercury; Virgo+Gemini

Mercury: ruler of the signs 'Gemini' and 'Virgo'

In my understanding of the astro-signs and Planets, it is perfect that Mercury is ruling both signs; I like to tell you about it:

The  'Gemini' - Mercury represents communication and doing. Communication IS doing, it cannnot be understood and incorporated separatly. Whatever you are doing IS a direct link to the communication with 'what is' and what 'is' is perception, the outer senses as a reflection of the inner senses - which is the principle of the sign 'Virgo'. The 'Virgo'- Mercury-energy merely 'delivers' more details in realtion to emotion and feelings; the Virgo-Mercury includes them: the Planets Moon (ruler of Cancer) and the Sun (ruler of Leo) are previous to Virgo, therefore 'Virgo' includes those two energies and they both are emotional energies, Cancer is the emotion itself and Leo the expression of the emotion.

But "" (i laugh, cause I remember this moment my article about the "but") I like to describe the movement of Mercury more clearly: the chart is not a : one step after another - movement; but a 'step by step- description' due to our linear-time-space- beliefs, This might be confusing first and could lead to misunderstandings and/or distortions.

I like to introduce the imagery of the hologramm (didn't I do it already?!) : the horoskop is a hologramm, each sign of the zodiak is IN there, the sings are adopted and accepted different designations of different energy-movements ... which is reflected in its structure: there are three 'levels' of movements: sign, planets and houses; when you stretch them out, you got a ball!

Or see it as a creation of space: first is the point, you add a 2nd dimension, you got a line, add a 3rd dimension you got a space.

Astrology 'fans out' the 'what is' for  understanding and connects the 'knowing' in the sense of 'remembreance' - which can be referredd to as the 4th dimension:

Love is apprecition and knowing, so Astrology (the way I do it) enhances and reinforces the 'knowing-aspect'. Quoting the dead guy: "appreciation is less probable without knowing"..... and I certainly agree to this statement and sense it as one of my favorite truths within the exploration of the concept of ICMR. Without the knowing part I wouldn't be able to consciously direct myself ... and many other doings!

That's one reason I love 'talking to the Stars' and I am used to it for so long.

Let's go back to the 'Geminie' Mercury: what happens here is this:

the subjectiv choses an idea (sense of conceptualisation), let's assume the concept is 'playing'. That is a conscious choice, you make 'playing' important by 'feeding this concept with energy', by concentrating on it! This idea comes as an impuls into the objectiv as an idea, a thought.... the bringer of the message is: Mercury! Mercury is what's called from Sokrates a 'daimon' (by implementing the religious aera, we later altered the 'Gods messenger' into a devellish energy, which is quite understandable, because when you want to express the concept of separation, the messenger of the inner voice must be a 'bad guy' otherwise  you would NOT stop listening to your own 'mercury/ daimon/

messenger of your inner voice and would not STOP start listening, obeiing = doing what somebody superiour is telling to you. You wouldn't  (or would you?) listen to a 'lower' voice! This all is purpusefull for making the concept of separation available - "but" now we are in a different direction/aera: we want (I assume the "we") to reconnect with Self , we want to shift our perception from 'there is a higher power than my Self' to 'all is within my Self', we are in the process of becoming 'who we truly are' within the concept of 'no separation' and selfdirectedness. .... to point this out again.

That is way 'our' Mercury is a 'daimon' in the natural sense, he is the messenger of YOUR OWN SUBJECTIV, which is the inner voice, which is an impuls, the intuition! The thought-mecanism becomes what it naturaly is designated for: the translation of the intuition into language/words/thoughts.

Back to the example of the impuls to explore, express the concept of 'playing'. What happens (all simultanious and perceivable as a process therefore in linear time): the Moon comes into the game, sending signals of happyness of any kind: "How fun" , translates the thought-office (thought mecanism). Now the next step, the Sun (remember, ruler of Leo) really starts 'playing', the Sun is the expression of the concept, which is the expression of playful energy of any kind.

then the Virgo-Mercury looks around, here a toy, there funny, playful music, people having fun, or 'playing' seriousness with a wink..... all outer senses are reflecting that playfull expression. the Virgo-Mercury perceives in clarity, WHAT has been expressed and HOW the expression reflects within the reality that you ARE creating in the now. Virgo-Mercury is the energy, that allows the awareness of perception: you become conscious of the smell, of what and how you hear, of what and how you touch, of what and how you taste and of what and how you see. Paying attention to this Mercury is a widening process of the outer senses, and you will notice withing this process, that all your outer senses change, they become 'louder', more clear. Perception alters .... our reality alters ....

and

referring back to the Gemini-Mercury:

that IS 'doing'.
